Our Earth. Our Home. Eco-Art Competition.

Our Earth, Our Home

Rules and Guidelines

Competition Description

Student artists in grades K-12 will create a piece of art, either 2-D or 3-D, that illustrates the message of the theme: Our Earth, Our Home. Contestants can use any medium or combination of media as long as the work meets the size requirements designated in the Official Rules.

The goal of the competition is to give students a voice about how they view the environmental issues in the world in which they live, whether local or global. Topics can include (but are not restricted to) biomes, ecosystems, animal life (including human), botanical life, environmental changes, energy, climate, water, etc. Additionally, through the creation of their work, it is hoped that students will raise awareness about the environmental issues important to them and move others to take action.

First and Second Place cash prizes will be awarded in three divisions: (Division 1-Grades K-3; Division 2- Grades 4-8; and Division 3-Grades 9-12). An Honorable Mention will also be recognized, but without a cash prize attached. At the sole discretion of EarthX, Divisions and Categories may be adjusted dependent upon the number and types of artwork submitted for judging.
