Division III (Ages 14-18)

I imagine that the boy and seed represent birth, youth and power. They are movers of the life, movers of a world. As a painting tehnique I used grafit pencil, colors and markers. In my work there is a lot of warm colors and I represented just happy moments of the life, that's how I see the world should be. In summer months it would be welcome one big beautiful tree or two. It makes shadow and deceases air temperature. When a tree becomes old and winter comes, we use it for an oven, gather around the table and watch the flame. Now, imagine the world without trees, how dry it would be, how empty and naked. When a baby is conceived it's like the seed, when it is born like a young tree, and then it grows. While the young person is growing, he is learning how to treat the seed, how to sow it, water it, how to protect it from storms. While he is planting it, tree grows and gives their own products to him. But when he is starting to ignore the tree, it would return. He wouldn't get an apple, shadow during warm time, or the wood for winter. So, that's the point, we should teach young generations to care about our nature, to learn how to be thankful and humble. The nature created us and one day will take us. We are just temporary on this planet, while we're here, we should try to make a world better place, taking care of trees and treating them well can be first step.
