Division II (Ages 10-13)

In my drawing, I used anthropomorphic rhetoric to compare the earth to the back of a more vivid little girl. I chose the form of art because of my interest in fashion design. By designing the pattern of the clothes and accessories for the little girl, I'm showing my audience the ideal condition of our future ecology. What matters the most when we plant a seed? In her hands, the seed slowly takes root over time and gives birth to various species of flowers and vegetations. The composition conveys my understanding that we should consider the diversity of the ecological environment when planting every seed into nature. The reason I chose the purple-blue tone for the painting is it can best match the purity and charm of the natural world.
