Division II (Ages 10-13)

This is my artwork from the topis of “Plant a Seed”. The overall meaning of this work is that seeds need to be taken cared of goodly in order to produce healthy life. One seed can change the world if taken goodly while seeds that are not taken care just end up as nothingness and sadness. The left side symbolises as life. I include mini people too represent life a bit more. They strived with their community, created tunnels to live in and created a great society just from a seed. I also included birds, apples. On the right side, I included fossils, ghosts and darkness (fog). They represent no life or death. I also made the ghosts cry in despair because of how the land is treated and how it is just because of a singular seed. I have also included a pattern in the tree which is sort of my version of Sam Cox’s artwork (Mr Doodle). It represents life. I also made two versions of that, a red one and a green one. The red one is bad and the green one is good. Just a singular seed causes a striving community, life, food and anything if taken greatly but if not, it will cause sadness, darkness and death. Even though this piece might be extremely exaggerated, it still has a concept that makes sense.
