Division II (Ages 10-13)

In this piece of art work, I portrayed hope in a sight full of negativity. Between the garbages, disguised as buildings, there is a transparent glass bottle which the Sun shines through, signifying positivity. While there is a wilting flower that is growing out of garbage, there is a sprout that stands strong despite what is going on around it. Even from a seed that is in a wasteland can grow a sprout, which shows how nature’s vitality is powerful. Through this piece, I wanted to express that even small seeds have hope to save the Earth. I want people who see this to know about the possibility that a small seed holds.
