The Earth is our only home, and humans are endlessly destroying and draining it of every last drop of resources. I want this painting to plant in people's mind more concern about the pollution of water resources and the survival of fish. Because when I was a kid, I saw the small fish in my favorite park were full of lakes turning their white bellies and dying in the water. Summer heated up temperature, the originally clear water of the lake became dirty and stinky. Like a worthless life, the small fish were salvaged from the shore and replaced by new ones to continue the cycle. I hope to plant a concept in people's minds through this painting:if people can exchange their souls with fish, they can feel for themselves what it is like for fish to die in the water because of human pollution, and let people stop the cruelty to fish. Hence, in the painting, the left half of the fish is like swapping places with humans, smoking a cigarette and watching humans in the back of the cage helplessly looking out. In the middle are the seeds I planted, the humans who are atoning for their sins in polluting the environment. On the right is when the status of fish overtakes humans, as if humans are above fish. The fish begin to breed with humans in an attempt to erase this sinful race of creatures.
