Earth is a fragile place where we all live, and my artwork depicts the life changing effects global warming has on our Earth. As the ice continues to melt, sea levels rise and we lose the beauty of our Earth. The beauties we lose can be minimal or huge, but in the end it is what makes our Earth beautiful. Through my artwork, I hope that the viewers can see my message that we must plant seeds. Climate change is caused by the release of carbon dioxide, and to fight this release of gas we must increase our greenery. Therefore, we must plant seeds. Climate change has always been a topic that my schools have included in their science classes, and it has never failed to interest me. This is because climate change affects our lives on a global scale, and it breaks my heart that animals and plants have to suffer from human actions. We increase the release of carbon dioxide by trying to make life convenient to us. In order to convey my message, I used acrylic paint, and I hope that through my artistic skills the audience can understand that now it is time to change our behavior. I hope the audience realizes how our lazy actions are increasing the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which eventually is leading to the rising sea levels. In summary, my artwork depicts the rising sea levels, and through this I hope that my audience realizes that we must plant seeds.
