Eco-Art Competition 2021.

This piece of artwork portrays how humans have sculpted nature into being a toxic environment. I portrayed the dark side of our modern world with the reflection over the water, by showing the extreme sides of the mining industry. I also figuratively depicted how our ocean hides our negative impact on its surface, and how you have to look closely to see our impact on the oceanic world. This impacts me greatly as I have been raised with awareness through various science classes about our Earth’s terrible condition. I covered the negative side with a heavy layer of fog to show how people must try to see what we are doing wrong, even if it is covered and hard to understand. I believe my entree will help bring awareness on the over mining and the negative impacts of industries.
