2021 - Division III (Ages 14-18)

This art piece shows the different ways that the environment is being polluted; air, water, land. It compares it to the different ways that energy can be made without having major negative effects on our world. The environment is important to me because when it deteriorates, we do as well. As it suffers, we do as well. I do not want to see this beautiful world die away without doing something to help. I used the artistic element of comparison to show what the world could come to if we continue down this horrifying path. A mirror image is shown (the beautiful side of what the world could be) if we allow it to flourish without causing damage to it. I would like his art work to inspire people out there and help them realise that this is not what they want for the world. Waste? Pollution? No. I want to help them know that what we are doing is not right and to help make a change.
