Division III (Ages 14-18)

My belief is that it is crucial to encourage people to recognize what their decision could mean for the integrity of the environment. In my digitally painted image I wanted to include something that revolves around the importance of habitats for animals, and by doing so, reminding people of the harm of deforestation. Orangutans, mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, giant pandas, and the infamous monarch butterfly are a very faint handful of creatures that are close to extinction due to habitat loss. My ambition is to remind people of their choices, and to advise large companies to be mindful of their agriculture, production of fossil fuels, water divisions, and lumbering. And most of all, emphasize that it's good to plant a seed every once in a while.
