Division I (Ages 5-9)

My work shares my ideas by showing how much it’s important to plant more trees and how great it is to have big strong trees and green grass. This idea is important to me because it shows others why it’s important to plant trees and it’s very detailed with lots of different colors. I hope other people will like my artwork and be more careful of nature and plant trees more often when they see my work. My tree stumps shows that the trees have been chopped, the trees in the background shows the trees being planted again and the color of the grass shows how the environment is, so it starts from a pale yellow then all the way to dark green. The trees are important to me because trees give us oxygen and the trees are also some animals’ home. If we chop down the trees, the animals would be homeless!!! I used different shades of green and yellow and I drew stumps, little saplings and big trees to show the comparisons between the stumps and the trees. My artwork may affect the other people to take more care of the trees around them.
