The idea behind my work of art that I would like to share to everyone is the impact of human activities and behaviors that cause changes to the Earth’s environment. What we do daily can greatly influence our physical environment either in positive or negative ways. Through my artwork, I would like to promote the idea that planting seeds is one of the best ways to save and protect our earth. When we plant a seed, we nurture it carefully, provide sufficient water, necessary sunlight, air, nutrient, and optimal temperature to help regulating its growth. It will then slowly grow into a tall green tree that can help purify the air we breathe and beautify the environment we live in. Planting more seeds means more trees are produced, which in turn will help to control the temperature and climate from the atmosphere. However, when our trees are gone, that benefit is lost. Improper use of land and cutting down massive forests significantly alter the beauty of our environment and doing more harms to the earth. By looking at my artwork, I really hope that people will realize how our behaviors can trigger many changes in the environment. The earth is in our hands, and whether it changes for better or worse, everyone must work together to try our best to help save the planet. We all need to take proactive steps to protect the environment, and keep it green and healthy for years and generations to come.
