To build more factories and cities, people wipe out mountains and forests. The world economy heavily depends on consuming natural resources to produce components, parts and fuel for cars and buildings. We care more about convenience and money than trees and nature. Our life style has produced far more greenhouse gas ever in the history of mankind, that results in all kinds of environmental issues including global warming. Even though the Earth is really big, it has a limit to sustain the endless demands from people. This is very important to me because I don't want to live in a planet that is too hot without polar bears. I want to help people think about the dangers of wiping out forests for factories and cities through my drawing. That's why I thought about drawing a melting earth in a frying pan with fires formed by the greenhouse gas produced by factories and cars. We need to plant more trees other than produce more factories or cars. Another important element in this idea is that putting earth in a frying pan over fire is our choice just like the fact that it's our decision to cook something using frying pan. It's our choice and we can stop this vicious circle if we all work together. I hope that more and more people will realize this by seeing my work and we can work together to make our planet a better place to live.
