Eco-Art Competition 2022

A small tiny seed can turn into a large tree. That tree can not only make life but help it survive just like the Sun! We often take the Sun for granted. Without the Sun there wouldn’t be trees on Earth and without trees life wouldn’t survive. But now we have reached a stage where the Earth is dying because of a lack of trees. And hence to sustain life on Earth we need to protect our Trees which are rightly the new Sun. In my art I used watercolours and watercolour pencils to convey the message of one tree’s importance to the world. I have tried to use an eco-friendly medium to depict my art. I have tried using minimum chemical colours to convey my message, indirectly my artwork itself is in sync with my thoughts. Also, I have depicted the Earth to be revolving around the Tree to show that it is the new Sun. Trees can provide us with oxygen we breathe, provide food and shelter to all living beings and they work as natural coolers for the environment. And without them humans will soon follow in the footsteps of the dinosaurs. I, unlike many others, am privileged to live in a place where clean breathable air is abundant and free. For others clean breathable air is scarce and in a few places there are clinics where you can pay to breathe clean air. Planting one seed can not only change someone’s life but save our planet Earth. Trees indeed are our new Sun without them Earth would surely collapse. I hope for people to understand my message, understand the importance of trees, take action and help me change the world, one Tree at a time.
