Eco-Art Competition 2022

A giant hand, resembling the almighty hand of Mother Nature, gingerly carrying the last tree on earth, and from the withered tree leaks out the last drop of water on Earth, below are desperate crowds viewing the last drop of water and the last tree, determining who shall get the water while all others wait for death…… This is a surreal, imagined painting of what our future will be like if we keep over using and wasting resources. The main elements that relates to environment protection are the withered tree and the drop of water. While the tree symbolizes deforestation, the last drop of water represents us wasting water and polluting it. Large amounts of color and the charcoal used to illustrate the people contrast with each other, creating a visual shock, this is to grab attention and create a surreal image that makes you feel as if stepping into another world.
