Eco-Art Competition 2022

On a fantasy setting planet, people plant a girl as the seed of hope to protect the environment. The girl is connected to the planet and the people surrounding her, reflecting on the mutual correlation of humans and the environment. People are damaging the environment and at the same time hurting themselves. The work somehow seems surrealistic, but I truly wish the audience to see the positive hopes laying below, which is presents in the planet at the upper right corner, with children running happily. I also intend to draw on the concept of gender and on the oppression of women from an ecofeminism perspective to analyze the relationships between humans and the natural world. I want the plant the seed inside people's hearts that urges them to be aware of both environmental issues at stake and the common destiny of the human body.
