Division I (Ages 5-9)

Everyone has heard of the good cycle of the predecessors planting trees and the latter enjoying the shade, but the reality always backfires. The irony of this painting is that the later generations clearly saw the predecessors’ persecution of the environment by cutting down the trees, but they still foolishly continue to do so. People planted saplings in their hands one by one in the back, hoping to appeal to the government to treat the symptoms as well as the root causes, so that the environment can continue to thrive.
