Eco-Art Competition 2022

You may think cactus are just random plants that spike your fingers and your body whenever you touch them. But some people like to have it as an ornament in their house . But i think it is not just a decoration and a painful plant that harms you. Cacti are only found in Mexico or southwestern United states. And also found in mountains and rainforests. They are usually located in hot places. But since global warming is making places hotter the cactus and other important plants can’t survive. Even though they flourish in arid conditions where no plants can’t survive they still need the perfect environment to live in. But also people are cutting them for other uses on a daily basis. Birds sometimes use it as a home, and some food we eat like pitaya and dragon fruit( and of course they are very healthy), it also can be used in very rare medicines, and it also makes cactus candy as well! They all may be yummy but also useful things but there are many more things you can make out of cacti. Imagine you as a cacti and you always getting chopped down and being shamed by people getting hurt always. You would feel depressed and sad that your life isn’t fair for cactus. This is why I chose to paint beautiful cacti
