"Blindness" is a representation about how blind we are to destruction we're causing to our home planet, Earth. Pollution is one of the many topics this piece covers and is the main issue this artwork is showing. The girl on her phone and the tree in the girl's eye shows our ignorance and lack of recognition towards these problems. Yet the tree also shows there is still hope for the ecosystem. The elements I used mainly consist of value but also include texture, shape and space. I hope this piece influences people to take a minute to look around and see how we could help through small things such as recycling the soda can you just drank.
