2021 - Division I (Ages 5-9)

Date: 28th October 2020 Name: Too Judah School: Saint Anthony Primary School Class: P2 Integrity Beautiful World My artwork talks about two people at the beach. They are cleaning up the beach. They have brought their dog along with them and tied it to a beach umbrella. A sad sight greeted them. There are plastic bottles, newspapers, plastic cups, plastic bags and straws. They were left by irresponsible and inconsiderate litterers. This is the sad state of our world now. If humans do not clean up the environment, it will not be comfortable enough to live in and the earth will get more polluted. On the flip side, all the sea creatures in my artwork are happy. It is because humans are cleaning up the environment and it is getting less polluted. There is also a happy crab next to the coconut tree. It is getting late and the children are getting ready to go home. They will continue to clean up the beach tomorrow. This is the ideal world I hope to be a part of and would love to contribute in. My idea is important to me because I hope everyone will be able to live in a clean environment and to show that sea creatures like it when we stop polluting the environment. I hope that people will be encouraged to make the world a better place to live in when they see my artwork.
