Division III (Ages 14-18)

In my Plant, the Seed artwork I illustrated a PC room where it is not only a room for people to play games but to also experiment and figure out how could we implement a levelling up system to grow the plant instead of using sunlight. So, for this, I put in a mechanical plant that builds itself to bloom into a flower every time you level up by winning games and I put it as a mechanical plant first so that we can use the mechanical plants to test out the program and find out a way on how to incorporate the leveling up system to a real plant without harming and destroying real plants. Environmental issues are important to me because seeing all the deforestation and pollution around the world just makes me feel sad just watching the environment wither. So, I used fine acrylic paint, Watercolour markers, and micron pens to illustrate this artwork. I used the colour purple because one of the meanings is transformation to which means that the flowers will grow and "transform" as time goes by and the opposite of my main colour choice which is purple is yellow which can signify happiness or optimism. I hope the people who view this will gain that sense of will to ~tart their own garden and level up their own small little plants.
