Division II (Ages 10-13)

It’s time for mother nature to nurture. The environmental elements displayed in my artwork depicts the necessity to plant and sow the vision of sustainability in the minds of children at a very young age. We will be able to build a better environment for our future generations by using renewable sources, following 6Rs, growing saplings. The Earth’s natural resources include air, water, soil, minerals, fuels, plants, and animals. Our earth’s resources are getting depleted day by day. Conservation is the best practice of caring for these resources so that all living things can benefit from them now and in the future. The environment is very important for all of us as it opens our hearts, and makes us realize we are a part of nature and we’re not separate from it. We all must see ourselves in nature as it will connect us to every one of us, because it’s clear that it’s all connected in one. I have used acrylic paint as a medium to communicate my message loud and clear. Apart from taking care of our environment, we must also inculcate the habit of being grateful to our frontliners who have stood strong during this pandemic and helped humankind. A culture that lives in harmony with its environment and people has a much better chance of flourishing than a culture that destroys its environment. We as global citizens should start to cultivate a habit of being gratitude to all living beings on this earth. I want the viewers of my artwork to sow the seeds of gratitude to nature and also fellow humans so that they are grateful to everything in their life. H.E.L.P - Heal the environment, Love the planet! Together we can sow the seeds of compassion & gratitude!
