Division II (Ages 10-13)

In my artwork, “The Seeds of the Future”, I aspire my audience to hold hope dearly for the next generations to come. The two hands of unique color holding up multiple seeds including Earth expresses the importance of planting seeds and how this act is planting a better future for the next generation. I intentionally placed the hands cradling seeds at the center, to showcase the significance of the seeds. "The seeds of the future" need to be planted today for better tomorrow. It takes one handful of seeds at a time from each individual to create Earth with a better future. We must act upon this issue as soon as we can to rectify this mess. I hope to raise awareness and inspire people to act and motivate others to act upon this awareness and knowledge. In my opinion, the current generation’s lack of shame and action for the pity that they created is putting our future descendants in a tremendous risk. However, I also believe that there is always a solution. Once our generation acknowledges their self-worth in this matter and starts the act of planting the right idea and direction, we can make a big difference. I wanted to be part of this initiation by creating an art piece that advocates the cause. I wish to leave nothing but the best to our descendants, leaving them with adequate living quality and environment. I hope to see my viewers getting encouraged and determined to make a change away from this predicament. We need every inspired clutter of helping hands, planting seeds of the future, to change the destiny of humanity.
