The environmental elements displayed in my digital art work relate to the theme Plant the Seed because the Earth itself is the seed that has a little sprout growing out of it. The background represents the dirt and soil that nourishes the Earth seed. The different hands represent people of different races and cultures around the world that are helping to make the soil fertile so that the Earth seed may have strong roots to grow. If we all nourish and take care of a seed, then it will have strong roots and grow and become a beautiful plant. If we take care of our planet, we can bring out the best of our beautiful environment just like how if we nourish a seed, we can bring out the best of the plant that it will grow into. This environmental element is important to me because litter is affecting the growth of plants through soil pollution, and I believe that if we all come together, we can help. It will require a community group effort to fix this environmental problem. My art work is a digital art piece that was created using the Procreate program. I used various blended colors with the digital spray paint brush. I hope that those who view my art piece will realize and have hope that in order to save the Earth from environmental pollution, we must all become united around the world to clean up the environment so that we can give our Earth the strong roots it needs to become the beautiful planet I know it can be.
