Eco-Art Competition 2022

In my artwork, I conveyed the importance of planting seeds using the symbolic image of the eye and natural phenomena that make life possible on Earth. The eye pupil is made in the form of the kernel itself. Around it, in the iris, are all kinds of vegetation, dense forests, natural areas. The well-known fact is that various plants grow from seeds, which produce fresh oxygen for our breathing and become habitat security for wildlife. The plants, braided around the seed, protect animals, birds, and insects, without whose existence humanity would not exist. Many fruits and vegetables will disappear in the absence of bees alone, and many animals will die. The seed in my picture also contains a particular natural area, with landscapes, clear skies, and its inhabitants. Thanks to such a small but significant thing as a seed, we have all the benefits for existence. The entire eye is washed by the shores of a natural spring, which shows seeds' effect on improving both water quality and climate change. I used bright colors and simple ideas that attract the attention of adults and children, and exciting symbols give ground for reflection on the different aspects of this theme. I like one wise quotation: "Your eyes show the strength of your soul." The eye is depicted with all its anatomical features - pupil, iris, sclera. Therefore, a person studying a picture sees a familiar image - the appearance of his eye, the reflection of his soul. A prosperous and living soul sounds excellent, doesn't it? However, our health and our soul's well-being depend on our environment, on ourselves. Is a person ready to join the movement protecting our environment to change the world he lives in? By planting seeds, you help to solve many natural problems. Every action is essential.
