Division I (Ages 5-9)

I greatly enjoy planting seeds, caring for them and watching them grown. When you plant a flower, it starts as a seed. After a few days, it will grow leaves and roots. Each day it grows a tiny bit taller and taller. Finally, it turns into whatever you planted, something pretty. I made this piece of art because I thought it would be a unique and creative way for someone to really watch a plant growing in 3-D. My family and I always love planting a lot of flowers in the garden because it is fun, beautiful, and attracts many different pollinators that are very important for our environment. I hope that when people see my artwork, they will be inspired to plant their own flowers in their gardens and help care for our beautiful Earth.
