When you think about bees, the first thing you will probably think about is honey or getting stung. But, there is so much more to what they do. They are constantly working and we do not realize how important they really are. Bees spread pollen, and pollen is the key to spreading seeds. They go from plant to plant and deposit pollen, which therefore causes plants to bloom and produce more seeds. So, planting more seeds will allow for bees to work their magic in more areas and there are endless benefits to more plants in the environment such as sustainability, cleaner air, and a healthier environment, as shown in the roots. Pollination is important to me because I have always been very fond of wildlife, and have always been fascinated with nature. I find it really cool that organisms so small could have an impact so large. I used photoshop to convey my message. I utilized colors to bring a deeper meaning to my art. The bright yellow trail of pollen represents optimism and hope for a brighter future. I included a lavender plant because purple represents the melancholic state of the environment. I feel like if people were more aware of the impact that bees have, they would be more conscientious about helping the bees and would feel more inspired to plant in their communities. Even planting one seed can pave the way for a better future.
