Division III (Ages 14-18)

In my interpretation, planting a seed is the same as starting a change. A seed that we grow and tend to will lead us to new blessings and opportunities. If we plant more seeds in the world, we can inspire change. People's neglected opinions are like whispers to our society. For us to be heard, we must take risks. These risks will result in massive changes and impacts on our society as a whole. In my painting, I depicted the seed as a baby, a baby that grows and gains knowledge over time. Just like in our world, as time goes by, the knowledge that we take will result in massive changes and impacts that are needed for us to live. I also added a space galaxy in the middle, which means that even if we grow and head on to the future, there will still be a "space" between our pasts and futures. Also, I added wings to the growing plant. These wings represent our flight to the future. The seed that we planted will help us grow to a better world and a better society. People who view this entry would understand the essence of "Planting the Seed". The seed that makes an impact and helps make a change to our world. People would understand the fact that planting a seed doesn't just result in crops or produce, but logically, it will lead us to a greater treasure. A treasure that will start the life that we are all longing for. The Future.
