When planting and growing the seed, it's a process. From preparing the supplies, looking into the soil, planting the seed, caring for it and so on and so forth. It requires many people to form ideas, audience to recognize the issues with their environment and spread awareness. Once the seed is planted, then there can be ACTION; which will lead to impact and hopefully change the environment for the better. Even then, work is never done, only progress. My artwork may look unfinished, that's on purpose as it reflects process by using the sketchy lines from the traditional work and then the black lines act as refinement and clarify the composition. Thought clouds, action lines, movement and words are what I used to convey my message of process of transforming the environment. Planting the seed could mean planting an idea, a realization, or a plain old seed. This is important to me because the world needs help, "out of sight, out of mind" is hurtful to everyone, especially the environment. I want the world to grow because there's so much untapped potential in it if everyone works together. Currently, the best way to do that, is through planting a seed and nourishing the environment, which could inspire others to be at least a little more kinder and lead to action, a change. A good one.
