In my painting, I had made my cat enjoying a perfect day, where there's no planes or any technology around, only clouds, grass and flowers. In the end it's just a cat enjoying a perfect day away from the tortures of mankind, the wars, the pollution, the trash. He's just chilling on the porch. The peacefulness in this drawing is important to me because nowadays as I get older, I feel my peace slowly drifting away. Also this is a painting of freedom. Most animals are cooped up in a cage or lonely. I tried to make the cat feel free and at peace. I had tried to give it an Asian feel, which I find peaceful, with the black inking and cherry blossoms. I hope when people see it they will think that it's peaceful and sweet. But in all, my painting is a view I have of the world with no pollution.
