Eco-Art Competition 2022

My main idea of this work is to use a decisive action: a strong fist crushing the axe until it was broken to symbolize stopping deforestation. However, the regrowth project should be taking place to show the urgency of starting cultivation. Surrounding the tree are those animals receiving the benefits of this regrowth project; the animals regain their home can live happily in the forestthe background showing these environmental issues faced in Malaysia. To contrast my focal point, I purposely used a warm color scheme to highlight the strong fist with the axe; then, it surrounded all the complementary green colors while showing the forest. I hope this work can draw the attention of Malaysian authorities to consider stopping deforestation and start cultivation.
