When I think of "Plant The Seed" topic, I don't just think of plants. I think of it as a starting of a new journey. That is what my drawing is about. Your family tree started with just one small seed. The first person in your family history. So they are the seed in this context. Now, have you ever heard someone say... Follow your roots. So you might be wondering why roots? Well it's like the seed started in a place then it grew to have roots and they spread all over the world. So when someone says follow your roots it means slow down on your root and trace it back to the seed. So my picture is telling a story, saying Plant The Seed doesn't just literally mean planting a seed, it means remembering the seed of your history and see how big that one seed has grown into all these roots all around the world. Also don't forget to take a break from your root and go and visit the seed that created it. That is why my story is related to Plant the Seed. Animal Habitat Destruction is an issue that is important to me. I used colors and story crafting to communicate my message. I think my drawing will affect those who view by them taking a moment to pause and go back and think about where there family's seed started. Thank you so much.
