Often times it's easy to ignore the issues in our world because it’s easier than accepting what our earth has become. The reality is we are breaking the only home we have, there is no other option, no way out, this is all we have. That is why I made one half of the skull seemingly beautiful and desirable, this is how we see our home. We love to see the world through rose-tinted glasses instead of how it is. The other half is our true reality, and with all of our ignorance, it begins to decay into the forgotten yet ever surrounding part of our lives. I hope people see the reality of our situation and that we should act on it. Global warming, deforestation, pollution, and many others are all things that are killing the earth before our very eyes yet we ignore these things and turn away. We all wish we could fix the earth yet we don’t act upon it, we are the only thing that can save the earth, yet we are the very ones destroying our home.
